Club to use - Sand Wedge
Set-up
1) Clubface - turn the clubface slightly open. 2) Grip - place the hands half way down on the grip. 3) Ball Position - 1 inch forward to centre. 4) Stance - slightly wider then normal, shuffle feet into the sand. - to create a firm base. - to lower your body into the sand. - to gain feedback as to how much sand is in the bunker. 5) Posture - bend forward from the hips to creat room for the hands and arms to swing through. - Bend the knees. 6) Weight Distribution - 60% 40%, 60% of the weight should be on your leg closest to the target.
Swing Motion
Impact Allow your wrists to un-hinge at impact to achieve a full extension of arms and club into the sand and under the ball.Try to contact the sand about 2 inches behind the ball.
